Before going on vacay, we all spend countless hours on Google (or social media) finding things to do in the area. This past weekend I vacationed in Las Vegas for the time, and I had a great time. Here are 8 places to go while visiting:

  • ATV tours: There are several companies that you can book a tour through, but the one I used was Adrenaline ATV tours. At first, the name “adrenaline” gave me a mini panic attack, but after going on the tour, it was not scary. You have the option to ride an ATV or ride in a 4-seater with a tour guide who does the drive (I had a tour guide). The scenery was beautiful! Pictures really do not do it justice. The prices range depending on the type of tour you do, but for the ride-along, it is $119 per person.
  • Mimosas Gourmet: If you go here, please know that you will need the patience to wait (anywhere from 90-120 minutes to be exact). This brunch spot has become extremely popular, especially because of TikTok. I had to try on two different days to eat here, and I must say it was worth it. They have huge mimosas that you can share or if you’re brave, you can drink it alone. The mimosas are $34.99, but trust me, it’s worth it. They are bigger than your head! And, as far as food, you get a nice size portion!
  • Koolsville Tattoos: For those of you that are tattoos fanatics, this is your place. Koolsville Tattoos has four different locations, and they are do $10 tattoos. Yes, you read correctly, $10! There is a book that you choose from that lists the $10 ones, and there were options for $20, $30, and $40. My friends and I got matching hearts for $10, and I also got a small elephant for $20. I had a fun experience!

The wait is long, but worth it!

  • Eiffel Tower Viewing Deck: Whether you are with friends or want to make it a romantic date, you will love this spot. The deck is located inside the Paris hotel. You will take an elevator 46 stories up to an amazing view where you can snap some great photos. From the viewing deck, you will see some of other hotels on the strip as well as beautiful scenes of the mountains in the distance, and a light show that runs every 15 minutes. It is best to go at night to fully enjoy everything. The ticket costs $27 per person.
  • Casinos: I will be the first to say that I am not much of a gambler, but if you are, Vegas is your place to be. With several different hotels that you can play in, you are bound to have some luck somewhere! I stayed in the Sahara hotel and one of the other ones that I frequently visited was the STRAT hotel. The STRAT would probably be a hotel that I would stay at in the future because there are a ton of things to do. It has attractions such as the Skypod, thrill rides, several restaurants, and more.
  • Area 15: This is an interesting attraction. When you walk in, it is dark but there are glow in the dark lights every where. It reminds me of a psychedelic experience (only no drugs involved lol). There is an area to dance and enjoy music, restaurants, games, and a not-so-average supermarket. It is free for entry, you only pay for what you do inside.

As soon as you enter…

  • Hotel Pools: As mentioned above, I stayed at the Sahara hotel. They have two pools, one for 21 years of age and up, and a family poor. Also, there is a third pool being added. The vibes at the pools are nice, with several little seating areas and you can rent cabanas as well (would not recommend since they are expensive). Since Vegas is always scorching hot, it was nice to take a dip in the pool to cool off. A plus, the pool is only available to those staying at the hotel.

Chillin, pool side!

  • The Broken Yolk: Another nice brunch restaurant to hit up. This place was actually an accidental find. The first day that I tried to get into Mimosas Gourmet was a fail since they were no longer accepting walk-ins, so after Googling where to get breakfast, The Broken Yolk was next up. Honestly, I’m glad I went. The atmosphere was friendly and the food was great. The highlight of the outing was the mimosa flight. You receive four different mimosas to sample, it was around $13.

Do these things sound like fun?

I would definitely come make another trip back, I loved the experience. If you have thought about booking a trip to Las Vegas, do it. With the Vegas strip being 8 miles long, there is plenty for you to do and the scenery is the cherry on top. Go make those memories!
