I love to eat out from time to time because, let’s face it, I cannot live in the kitchen when there are so many other things on my daily to- do. Plus, sometimes I am so overwhelmed with work, I feel like I deserve a “treat” at the end of a long day. Grab your pen and paper to jot down some of my favs!

  1. Chick-fil-A Not only will you receive superb service (I can hear “my pleasure” in my head now!), the chicken is fantastic. There has never been a time when I have eaten there and was not satisfied. They cook with love and you can tell the difference between here and other fast foods.
  2. Benihana If you like a little entertainment while you wait to eat, this is your place. Since it is hibachi, they cook in front of you and put on a real show with fire tricks and food tosses. When you become a regular, you know that you absolutely have to get extra garlic butter. Also, if you are a sushi lover like me, the shrimp crunchy roll is delicious!
  3. Wing Stop Since giving up beef and pork, chicken has become my go-to meat, especially wings! They have a flavor for everyone, so no need to feel left out. Original hot and lemon pepper are my top choices. They are literally finger-licking good!
  4. Tacos 4 Life Ever since the first time I tried the grilled chicken taco at this restaurant, I never looked back. I fell in love with the freshness. The toppings and meat never taste old or like they have been sitting out all day. And, they have a great mission statement. For every meal that you buy, they give a meal to a hungry child. How can you not love that?
  5. Rockfish Seafood Grill I am a big seafood person, and here you are given several tasty seafood options. The shrimp boil with the “All-in” sauce is something you will not regret. Plus, they have this one drink called the Hurricane, definitely worth it. Who does not love a good cocktail?
  6. Texas Roadhouse Now that I have given up beef and pork, it is a bit harder to step foot in this restaurant, but it is still one of my preferred places to eat. If you have ever had one of their rolls, you know you cannot eat just one. The warm temperature of the bread and that sweet cinnamon butter is like heaven. I could literally eat rolls and the salad and still be just as happy! The atmosphere is inviting; they offer peanuts as a snack while you wait, and guess what? When you have a birthday, they go all out and sing to ya!
  7. Zoes Kitchen If you are looking for a healthy option, Zoes has you covered. Their Mediterranean food is excellent for a light lunch. I could eat the salmon kabobs a few times a week if I had the choice, and their hummus and pita bread make a great snack.

If you have any of your favorites that you would like to try, leave me a comment!
